Scott Family Farm 1

This project was previously known as Project 050.

The Scott Family Farm is a South Carolina Century Farm, a homeplace with family farming history dating back to the late 1800s. Though the 250+ acre farm was split into two parcels a few years ago, it remains in the immediate family and both parcels will go under easement at the same time. The property features prime farmland, native hardwood forest, natural wetlands on Horse Creek, and 3,700 linear feet of rural scenic viewshed along Scott Road. The farm is centered in an area under long-term threat of suburban and industrial development.
