Project 16

This is a 60-100 acre, totally undeveloped property that features mature oak and hickory forest and provides habitat for numerous wildlife species.  This site has a 2-acre pond and significant frontage on streams that are tributaries to the Saluda River.  This property is near a highly developed commercial district and has over 1000 feet of frontage on a busy county road.

Application 17

This is a 30-40 acre property nestled between a residential subdivision and a significant blue line stream that is a tributary to the South Tyger River, with almost one mile of stream frontage.  The property is completely undeveloped and features significant and varied wetlands.  This site is located in a heavily urbanized area less than a half mile from an incorporated city.

Application 18

This property shares a border of approximately 1200 feet with the property in Application 19.  Together, these two properties would conserve more than 75 contiguous acres of mature bottomland and upland forest and over 1.5 miles of stream and creek frontage.  The property is completely undeveloped and contains a great diversity of habitats.

The complementary property to that in Application 18.  This property features a northern, bottomland parcel with 10 acres of wetlands, and a smaller southern, upland parcel with mature oak/hickory forest .  These properties are nearby recently developed residential subdivisions and are two miles from an incorporated city.
