Little Mountain

This project was previously known as Project 048.

A conservation easement on the 123.62 acre Little Mountain property will protect significant natural habitat and viewsheds along the Highway 11 Corridor in north Greenville County. With over 4,500 feet of frontage along Old Highway 11, the property affords views of towering mountains, hardwood forests, wetlands and Barton Creek. Analysis also shows that the land within this project area has a high influence on water quality; its preservation will help maintain the water quality of headwater streams that impact the overall quality of downstream waterways.
