Long Branch Conservation

This project was previously known as Project 040.

Two undeveloped lots totaling 16.81 acres along Reach and Owens Streets are key to the shared effort to preserve 60 overall acres of contiguous natural floodplain for a stormwater resilience and outdoor recreation project. The lots adjoin the Reedy River and span a portion of Long Branch Creek in an area experiencing tremendous growth due to proximity to Unity Park and the Swamp Rabbit Trail.
